Turn off maintenance required light (i have done it before, this time not working)

Hey everyone! I am hoping someone will be able to help me :) I have a 2005 toyota camry (love it!!)

anyway my oil changes are a little off becasue I got one earlier once. Anyway, the maintance required light comes on in the middle of the time frame where i need an oil change. The first time this happened I learned how to turn it off myself with no problem. For some reason...this time I am not able to do so!

I am wondering if perhaps I reset Trip A (or tried to turn it off too soon) as I did try the procedure the first day the light started blinking and then i read that you should only do it when the light stays on.

do you think that is why I am unable to turn it off this time? If so, do I just wait until the next time and try to reset it again?

Thank you!!

I just recently reset mine on 05 Camry using instructions in owner manual
1. Turn key to on and set odometer to main not trip
2. turn key to ACC
3. While holding Odometer reset button in turn key to ON and wait for about 5 seconds. Should see odometer got to 000000 and light should go out.

Good Luck
