Used Avalon/Camry Spark Plug question
 

I just bought a 2007 Avalon which is just like my 1995 camry when it comes to removing plugs, I think. Will it be the same difficulty taking the 3 rear spark plugs out. I did not remove anything in my 1995.

It is a 2007 Avalon Limited 3.5 l 106000 from my sister in law , not much history but oil was changed regularly and car maintained Sat more or less for past two years and doing some regular maintenance.

Did the following:

New battery, changed oil and filter, air filter. Need to do plugs, flush radiator, drain trans. flush brake fluid, check brakes. Filled up with fresh gas to burn off old gas. Drove a few 100 miles. Fortunately, no issues since a car sitting is not good. Runs great.

This will be for my daughter at med school who has to wake up early to go to the hospital and works 12-15 hour days.

Yes. There are posts on the net about doing the job without taken off engine parts.

Found one. Removing wiper blades, wipermotor, etc. for better access. Thanks

Just removed all plugs. The hardest part are the rears of course was removing all the electrical coils, other wiring with snap connections to get at plugs. Once that is complete it is easier. Suggestion on removing coils. Wiggle it back and forth pull up and repeat. Just taking out one took 10 minutes. Slow and easy is better since these have been in there for a decade and pulling too hard I am afraid may damage something. No yanking. Always do this with a cold engine.

Test drive went well. $60 vs at least $400 elsewhere. My labor is free. Probably took 10 hours over a few nights but with experience will cut that to three if needed again.

Just be ready to have arms cut up some but par for the course for any car work.
