Waxing My Camry

I seem to recall that carnuba wax in general is supposed to be the best type of car wax. I'm looking for durability and not appearance. The area I live in is very harsh (I park my Camry outside) and I have to apply wax monthly. What brands and type of wax do you recommend? Thanks

I have used Nu Finish for decades and while I may have some rust on my 2003 Suburban it beads up nice, shines and protects the finish. I have a 1995 Camry with 200 K from my brotherinlaw and a good car but it was not waxed often, Calif. car and the finish is OK only. Will try someday to bring it back to life. Has a slight chalky feel.

I live in AZ and have always used Turtle Wax. I have a 2001 Chevy S10 that was outside for about 10 years and is still in good condition.

Nu Finish is a good product, i use it on my Frontier but it's a polish. The proper way is to polish the vehicle then wax it. I've had good luck with McGuier's Black wax & it lasts a long time. The McGuier's paste wax on my black Frontier left swirl marks.

303 wax sealant...simply wet car, spray product on and spray off with water.
