Default Throttle Position Sensor

I've got a '96 Camry with a 2.2l. It developed a delayed 2-3, 3-4 shift so I took it to a trans shop. There was no check engine light but they said the throttle position sensor was malfunctioning, thus affecting this. I replaced the TPS according to Chilton and now have a cel showing codes 121, then 120 after clearing. It seems it may be an adjustment issue since the scanner shows TPS value at 2% for closed throttle while running. Any ideas? If adjustment, what is the proper procedure and what should value read? Thanks in advance!

The AutoZone website may have something on TPS adjustment in the sites vehicle repair guide sections
