1999 camry xle remote door lock malfunction

Anyone able to help with my remote malfunction. I bought two new remotes from amazon. I went through both procedures described in previous threads. The one using the key. The other shorting pin 2 and 10.

Results:

No cycling action at all using the key. Tried about 5 or 6 times.

shorting pin 2 and 10 on remote mirror switch socket. It only locked the doors. It did not cycle them as instructions indicated.

Where do I go from here?

Does the car have an anti-theft system?

Post thread to Amazon remotes.

Antitheft system.
 

Yes it went off the other day and i had trouble shutting it off if this helps.

Is this an aftermarket alarm, Toyota factory alarm or?
