push button start
#4
Check the owners manual for the proper engine start procedure.
This being for the brake to be pressed, trans in Park, etc. Then once done a ready light should change from say yellow to green. This indicating it is OK to press the start button and expect the engine to turn over.
If the light is green indicating all is ready for engine start. But nothing happens when the start button is pushed. The issue could be a failing auxiliary battery (see owners manual). Batteries have less output as the air temps (and thus battery) get colder.
Or corroded battery connections.
If in following the start procedure you can't get the light to turn green. Something is wrong such as bad brake light switch, etc. If the light is not green, the engine will not turn over when start button is pushed.
