2007 Camry 6 cylinder instrument panel lights will not shut off. On all the time and I mean even when car is parked.

It is just the lights in the blue background in the Odometer-Tach area and not the radio.

How do I turn these off? Burning up the battery while I type.

Have the schematic but can't figure it out. The lights are LED's and appear to be powered by the Dome fuse. Each set of lights appears to be turned on/off by a transistor. Guessing the transistor may have shorted.

Try removing the Dome fuse and determine if the lights go off.

 

Dash lights that would not shut off at all...day and night went off just as I entered the dealer to have them evaluate it. Can't fix what is not broken .....will try local dealer to see if they can run an analysis.

Heavy rain the night before bringing to the dealer (morning) so somehow what ever was not connecting is now connected...might be a loose harness...will update from local dealer report.

Thanks for pointing out the Dome Light circuit...that was what I was going to suggest to the dealer before it went out on its own.
