Hi all,

Ok my car keeps throwing a code 21 and 42. it was an automatic and when the tranee blew i put a standard 5 speed in it.. but i have been having these codes pop up since before that.

what it does: it is hard to start in the mornings and when i do get it started and i give it gas it just bogs down i can push it all the way down and the rpms will be stuck at about 3k for about a min. then it will slowly start to work up and once it breaks a certain point it shoots up. when im driving it seems to bog down into every gear.( it has been getting worse) the longer i drive the better it gets but when i park and turn it off it starts all over again.

any suggestions are welcome please help me.

 

Ok, i just got done checking it out i got rid of the 21 code but i still have the 42 code

Code 42 Vehicle speed sensor circuit---this does not make sense my car does not and never did have a speed sensor.... i had the rare auto trans that did not have the big sensor in the side of it.. all i have is a speed cable.
