96 LE AC died, killed tach and fan
AC light flashing, so turned off. Tried again and lost Tach, Speedo, temp meter, interior fan and power windows. I have another camry and will begin switching relays. Any other suggestions?

Did you check the fuses including the ones behind the drivers side ash tray on the dash.
Flashing light means a problem with the AC system. Typically being the AC system is turned on but something has failed resulting in the compressor not working. The system has various switches, sensors that will turn off the compressor if there is a problem with the AC system.

The AC magnetic clutch could have a short.
Find the wire to the AC magnetic clutch and disconnect it. Typically there would be one power wire with a plug connection, the compressor body acting as the ground path.
The clutch is incorporated into the drive pulley. The wire would be running into this area.
Caution, the compressor may also have 2 wires for a speed sensor. One of these wires might be the same color. The sensor is mounted on the compressor body away from the magnetic clutch.
