Died while driving cranks but won't start. No spark at spark plug. Checked all fuses they were good. Have power to coil and ignitor. Can anyone tell me what else to check?

 

You have pulled a plug (wire still connected) and turned over the engine a few times and do not see any spark?

 

Yes and I used a spark tester and no spark. I changed out the ignitor with a known good one and still no spark. I changed the ECU with a known good one and still no spark. I got codes 12 and 14 when I retrieved codes.

 

I also checked the pickup coil and it tested good. I don't know how to check the cam sensor. I don't think I have a crank sensor. I checked the fuses and relays and didn't find any problems. I looked at the wiring and didn't see any thing that looked bad. I am thinking about changing the distributor with a known good one but haven't yet.

 

My best guess is to start working backwards, grab a tester or even a test light and just start working your way back from the plug.
It sounds very strange and it also sounds like you know your way around so i think you know what you are doing as well.

 

I know just enough to be dangerous. But am only a shadetree mechanic. I will try the distributor and if that doesn't work I guess I will start ohming out the wires from PCM to the ignitor and the distributor.

Things are kind of pointing towards the ignition switch.
