Question Alarm help

Hi!
I really hope someone can help me, I am desperate! I just bought a new (used)
Camry, a '99. I bought it from a private party who didn't mention anything about an alarm, but apparently it has one. I accidentally set it last night, and can't shut it off unless I disconnect the battery. I don't have a fortune to spend in fixing it, is there any way to disable it?

Can you start the car?
Does the engine crank over and not start?
Does the engine not crank over?

Determine if there is red light flashing on the dashboard. If so the car may have a Toyota alarm.

Try locking all doors manually, then open drivers with key.

Most aftermarket alarms have a switch or button on a box under the dash. Look under the dash.
