Remove the inline alarm fuse. It is above the alarm control module under the drivers side kick panel. I read a post that said when replacing the battery in a vehicle equipped with an alarm that you should connect the positive cable first. I am also fighting alarm issues today. Maybe you can answer my Question which I will post soon.

Hope this helps its how to reset the alarm.
1. Have the valet in the Out position
2.Connect the battery. The alarm will sound.
3.Put the key into the ignition and turn to the On position.
4. Push the valet button to the In position, the alarm will be reset and the valet button will glow red.

5. Move the valet button to the Out position again. Repeat steps 3 and 4 and the valet button will become unlightened. The car will star and everything will be fine.
