ECU Problems
I have a 1988 Camry LE, 4 cly , automatic. In the past year it has gone threw 5 ECU's. I've replaced the O2 sensor,
the throttle position sensor, one of the ported vacumn switchs, the mass air flow sensor, the alternator. The ECU lasts
about 3 to 4 weeks and then done. I thought I was a fairly good wrench but this car has whipped my a. I was wondering
if anyone knew of a good auto electric shop in Phoenix, AZ. I can take this car to. E mail me at wbthirdof7@msn.com
THANK YOU.

RE: ECU Problems
Did you turn off the igniton switch before removing the ECU? This will cause damage to the unit if not done prior to removal and installation. Also, grounding your self before handling the ECU is extremely important.
