The infamous door-locking issue...

I've looked far and wide and read up on this issue that I'm (and obviously many other camry owners) having. My remote will LOCK all 4 doors but will only UNLOCK the driver's door. I can hear a noise from the other doors when I hit unlock for a second time, but the doors remain locked and I'm forced to reach over from inside the car and manually unlock the door. It's not the biggest issue in the world but it does get old after a couple years... I've found that the likely culprit pertains to the ECU but I've also read about people resolving this identical situation by cleaning/replacing door solenoids or the actual door actuator(s).

Anybody have any advice on what I should do next?

Appears to the ECU. Some state the issue responds to moisture. Guessing a bad connection or solder joint inside the ECU.

I know it's possible to remove the ECU to inspect it, but I'm not 100% sure how to and where it's actually located on my car. Would it be worth a try?

Not sure if inspecting will do any good.

The location is behind the fuse box on drivers side of dash.

What I was trying to get at was whether or not it would be doable to locate, disassemble/remove and repair/replace the ECU? If this is something that will be 30 feet over my head, I'll just live with it but if it's possible to remove/repair/replace or whatever... I'd like to see if anyone has any more detailed information on that. Thank you in advance!
