New member with a head light question

Default New member with a head light question

Hi room, I am a 2008 Camry SE owner and i wanted to add Xenon or HID head lights and fogs, do I have to get a kit or can I just pull the old bulbs out and put the newer brighter ones in???? thanks for your time!!!!

Depends.

HID is a conversion not a bulb swap.

You can buy brighter bulbs. Polarg, Raybrig, Osram, Noyka, Phillips and others make bulbs. Your auto parts store may sell brighter bulbs that can be swapped out.

If buying bulbs, make sure bulb design is the same as the one in the car or it will not fit the socket. There are different bulb designs such as H4, 9004, 9007, etc. If you look on you car, not all bulbs are the same design and as such have a different numbers.
