Default Battery keeps dying out

Bought a used 2003 V6 Camry. Electrical system has been problematic shortly after I took title.

1) Takes 3 tries to start engine.
2) Battery has needed a jump almost every a week in the three months I've owned the car.
3) When I do play it, the radio has static that makes it sound like it is short circuiting.
4) When I turn key in ignition, I get nothing. Yet the lights on the dash are/come on. Two weeks ago there was an endless clicking as I tried to start it.

Mechanic doesn't even know. Thanks.

Has anyone checked the battery cable terminals, battery cable to starter, battery ground cable to chassis, etc?

Plus checked battery itself for holding a charge?

Clicking is typical of bad starter solenoid. However could be low current at the solenoid.

Does the engine start if battery is jumped?

If engine starts. Use a voltmeter to check voltage at battery with engine at 2000 rpm. Should be around 14-15 volts.

Check for a parasitic drain. With a charged battery, connect an amp meter between one of the battery terminals and battery cable (engine off). Check for current drain with all electrical items off. Current flow should be small say 35 ma.

If the car has an aftermarket alarm. These can have issues resulting in drawing a lot of current engine off.
