Hi guys,

i own a '89 camry v6 Le (320 9xx kilos) and she is in good shape !

But my passenger side power door don't want to unlock : the 'lock' goes up and down but not enough.
tomorrow i will try to open the inside trim but as the door is always (!) closed it will be hard to see inside.

anyways thanks for any idea !

Might remove the seat to better access the door panel. The solinoid is located in the door lock area. The rear portion of the door opposite door striker plate.

A locksmith may be able to use a slim jim to open the door but not sure.

 

yesterday,i went to see what was going on in this door.
i didn't wanted to open the door so i've try the 'metal wire' method to hi-jack my own car....i didn't felt any unlock or whatever so i went unlock and unlock the door with the electrical button.After 4 time it OPEN ! so now my door works pretty good!!

but i found a another problem(s) first is a leeking trunk seel (1 inch of water in the trunk) so i've putted some Mono and now its alright

the second is the air filter...the guy who ad it before was a idiot...i don't know why but he cut two hole of 1 inch square in the Air filter... (anyone knows why??)

 

Sometimes my door locks get stuck locked this happen to anyone else?! Mainly the passenger door and rear doors never the driver door yet,.,.
