Power Windows Not Working
1990 Camry LE, four cylinders, four doors. Driver's side power window works. Front passenger side window goes down but only sometimes goes up! Rear driver's side window goes down, not up. Rear passenger side window goes down, not up.
This might be a long shot with my extremely limited knowledge of electrical stuff, but might there be a simple solution?? :D Any help would be most appreciated. -Mike |
Suggest to start by checking the wiring going between the drivers door and chassis. These wires can break as a result of constant drivers door usage and flexing.

I think you have a problem in your power windows main control which is installed in
driver's side of windows you should be check out your all the controls of your main side control may be you are lock all your windows and have no remember to unlock this or otherwise you should be check a mechanic |
does anyone know if you can replace the wiring from the drivers door window switch to it's source? I am having problems rolling up the passenger window...goes down fine. I was able to wiggle the wiring bundle that runs from the door to the car and get the window to go up. I am guessing there is a cracked wire in there somewhere.

It may be possible to determine the actual wire.
Does the individual passenger window switch work and if so in what window directions, up/down/both? |
