Default Radio or Display Screen problem

We have a 2014 Camry LE 4cyl. with 109,000 on the clock that when purchased in 2016 w/11,000 we had the sales person pair both our Cell Phones to the blue tooth hands free mode. Now I have replaced my old phone with a I Phone and cant get it to pair the new phone and can't remove my old phones info from the unit so we went back to the dealer where we bought the car from and two different people there couldn't get it to pair the phone and said the touch screen probable is not functioning properly (imagine that) he suggested they look in to it but would have to leave it overnight (imagine that ALSO).

Should these touch screens go bad in such a short time even though we use the steering wheel push buttons to change the channels and Not use the touch screen for that, Its not a Navigation system just has the radio and a backup camera. Is this just another Dealers way to sell you more parts or is it Toyota $ u c k s in there Electrical or Electronics department? Anybody have any suggestions?

Suggest a blanket web search on your problem. Might try Toyotanation.com.

These Toyota screen, navigation, phone interface, etc systems are at best problematic. Toyota's usual fix is to replace the unit and end of story for helping the customer fix the current unit. It appears a product of making vehicles too complicated while not building in robustness and doing a mixed job at it. But is sells cars!

At one time Toyota units would not pair up with all phones. They were updating their software to accommodate more phones.

Find a website dedicated to Toyota electronics as in displays, navigation, etc.
