Remove restrictions in GPS System 2011 SE
I got this car 2 months ago, and got it tinted, and it's freaking sexy. There's nothing I don't like, except the stupid limitations of text entry during driving. I know, not safe, not safe. But I rarely go to unknown places alone, most of the "GPS" required locations are with my family. My passenger can easily enter the information for me.
Does anyone know how to remove this?

I am very much interested in overriding my 2011 Camry Nav system as well. It seems unlikely that there is no available solution to the navigation override problem. I have to believe that they left themselves some sort of back door. I hope that given time, the correct sequence of on-screen inputs to access the override menu option will become known...if it hasn't already... If anyone has any advice on this subject it would be much appreciated if you could pass it along. (and I'm aware of the "safety" implications, so no commentary on that subject is required...)

An internet search is your best bet. On occasion owners have been able to override vehicle operations then post the result to other forums.
Keep in mind Toyota may have set up service for electronics to be via the ODBII port using a Toyota diagnostic tool.
