Window Motor

I recently got 3 of my windows busted out of my '92 Camry. The Windshield, back glass and passenger side rear window. the rear window motor is out, and they couldn't get the new window to go up so i am driving around with my back window halfway down, is there and way I can get it to manually go up, or should i just have the motor replaced?
Thanks,
Codie

RE: Window Motor

Hey clanders,
I just bought a 92 camry and both of the back windows were duct taped in the up position. This was not acceptable to me riding around with duct tape holding up the rear windows. Here is what I did to correct the problem. Take off the rear door panels. If you have the plastic just pull back so that you can reattach. The cables that move the window in my camry were trashed and would not allow the motor to function properly so I disconnected the motor and pulled the window into the up position, drilled a hole through the window holder and the track, put a bolt through and viola, the window is permanently up. At least this way, no duct tape is involved! I did this to get me through until I can buy all new replacements for the rear window hardware. Hope this may help in some way...
