does anybody know if this is possible and if it is how? ive heard and read that the e153 tranny can bolt up to the motor with minor mods but is this even possible in my car???? pls help anybody i have been surfing the web for like 6 months now trying to find a solution. and also does anybody know who makes a decent header.....some people where trying to get a gorup buy together with JP in santa ana but didnt go through so now im looking again????

 

Anything is possible with enough money. I think a manual trans swap would be a huge challenge on a 3mz-fe though. The last Camry to get a manual was the '01. You would have to start with parts from one of those cars and try to custom fit them to your Gen5. Then it would drive the cars ECU crazy with CEL's, looking for information from a 5 spd. auto.
