1MZ-FE (v6 24v) design

Hi,

Could anybody tell me about the 1MZ-FE internals.

How many bearings does have the crankshaft ?
What's their width ? 1/2 in., more , less ?

I wonder how long can last this engine without a rebuild. Mine has 210kmiles (auto transmission), heads have been rebuilt some time in the past, the engine runs very well. But 210k is a lot. v6 on manual transmissions are usually rebuilt (all the bearings) at 300mkm, so 190kmiles.

Thanks

4 main bearings. Crank journal about 2.4 inch in diameter.

If you want the engine to last, don't over heat or hot rod it. Do change the oil.

This is what I thought as the engine is very compact. 3 pairs of conrods.
2.4 inch is not a lot to last much more than 210kmiles.

The bottom end rarely fails, the engine can blow head gaskets.

Already done few years in the past.
