2021 Camry XSE Running pump noise when off

I have had several occasions that I noticed a noise coming from the rear of my car while the car is shut off and has been sitting shut off for hours. The noise sounds like a pump motor running. I had to turn the ignition on then off to have this pump noise stop. Does anyone know what this pump noise is? Why would this be running on my car after it has sat "cold" in my garage? Any suggestions as to what to look for would be helpful.

Normal.

The cars emissions system is running a test. The pump is creating low pressure in the cars emissions system which includes the gas tank, gas cap, filler pipe, hoses, etc. The purpose is to check for air leaks.

The pump will only run with the fuel tank is between predetermined volumes, the engine is off for a certain time period, etc.

As the title says I went out to the carport an evening or two ago and I heard a crying sound, checked the whole carport and the sound wound up coming from the back of my vehicle accepting it was the fuel siphon... I opened the carport entryway fired the HL up and shut it down and the sound disappeared. That was whenever it's first worked out and hasn't occurred since. (I've claimed it since Dec first 2016) Anybody else experience this?
