Air Conditioning shuts off

My pops has a problem with his 95 Camry. The a/c works fine for about 10 minutes and then starts to blow hot air...not normal temperature air. Like someone switched the vent to the heater. The system is fully charged so I think the problem has to do with the vent. Isn't the ventactuated by a vacuum line?Anybody know what's going on?

RE: Air Conditioning shuts off

the vents are controled by cable unless you have climate control...do you know what your ac pressure readings are and is the ac pump cycling during operation..?

Any luck finding the sollution to this? My girlfriend is having the same problem with hers. Hers isn't blowing hot air, just warmish. Any help would be appreciated.

97 Camry AC works for 5-10 mins

I seem to be having the same problem. It will work for 5-10 minutes then stop. It won't work again until the car has been shut off for a good amount of time at least 1 hr.

Was yours ever resolved? Or does anybody know what I can do to find out what the problem is?

I know it's not the fluid level as that was checked by a mechanic. The pump cycles on and off, so it's not that...

Any ideas?
