Camry Price Enquiry

Hi I am getting a 2009 second hand Toyota camry
Red Color
17,00,00 miles
Rebuilt title- Car bumper replaced
Fair condition
New tyres

I am worried about its rebuilt title and cant decide what price to quote.

What should be the best price to buy from private party?

Do you know anything about working on and inspecting cars?

A car having a rebuilt title had more damage then a replaced bumper cover. Typically cars are deemed salvaged (totaled) by insurance companies when the cost of repair equals say 80% of its is market value. The car can then be "rebuilt" to road worthy and get a rebuilt title.

Before considering buying the car. Call your states DMV and find out the details of what a rebuilt title means in your state. If planning on getting auto insurance call the insurance company. A rebuilt can effect the insurance coverage you can get.

No matter what work you do the the car, the rebuilt title will stick with the car. It will always be worth less the a car with a normal title.

170000 miles (US)?

Fair body and interior condition?

What engine type V-6 or 4-cylinder.

Go to the site below and type in all you know about this car.

Check craigslist for local cars being sold.

Don't use the calculated or craigslist price but take a steep discount, say 50%.

When buying a rebuilt car you want to buy it cheap!!!!!!!

If needing to sell you will get much less the a car having a normal title.. You don't really know what happened to get the car totaled, what was done to repair it and the quality of work.
