Gas Milage Challeng
 

I would like people to post performance upgrades they have and if the milage got better or worse with the upgrades. Im doing this cause the only way I put performace parts on my car is if my wife says. To have her blessing it has to "Save Us Money".

So let see em. Pics included if you dont mind.

This is an excellent challenge! I am interested as well. I have done zero mods to my car but if I can gain some mpg's then I am all for it.
I considered getting a K&N air filter but I watched some youtube videos about it actually getting worse mileage. I guess you could save on the cost of buying new air filters? Not worth it in my opinion.
I also don't believe in those ebay "chips" either.
So if someone knows something, please post it for us to see!

I am in the same boat with ya, if the upgrade improves fuel efficiency I will consider it. I have a 99 LE, 1MZ-FE, 153K miles and have installed E3 spark plugs, NGK spark plug wires and short air intake (the OEM tube cracked) which I found on EBay for 40.00. I would like to upgrade the injectors, fuel rails, coils and throttle body but am not sure what brand would be a good performance upgrade so any suggestions are welcomed! I have considered complete exhaust system, found one made by K O Speed: T-304 STAINLESS STEEL EXHAUST HEADER/MANIFOLD 96-01 TOYOTA CAMRY/SOLARA V6 1MZFE $264.95 but haven’t pulled the trigger on it yet. Other thought is to do a CAT back but not really gaining much without headers.
Anybody have upgrade suggestions?
