1994 V6 LE J code ...Lots of new parts in past year...I can't start it w/o stepping slightly on the gas pedal....

FYI.... the ONE part that made the most difference ( drum roll ) COOLANT TEMP SENSOR....

It was like frosty the snowmans hat.... The car came alive wtih power It never had since I owned it.

why is the car hard to start...? At times it starts instantly.... but not always..

What parts were replaced?

Did you do any work on the IAC valve?

no, changed the mass air flow sensor....throttle pos. sensor... the other is idle air control valve.... right ?

Yes, the air control valve.

You had this issue since obtaining the car?

Does this issue happen when engine is hot, cold, both? After sitting overnight, every time you start the engine, etc.

There is a VSV which adjusts pressure when engine hot.

got it b/c of death in my family... Yes, problem was with the car since I got it.
it sometimes starts instantly when cold sometimes.. when warm ..after briefly parked.
if i press gas pedal slightly it'll start if I give it correct amount of pedal.

VSV. An electric solenoid valve the turns a vacuum line on/off. This vacuum line then operates another valve.

You replaced the IAC valve?
