How do you replace a fuel filter for a 93 toyota camry? I know the location but is it too difficult?

 

Are you talking about the can filter in the engine compartment?

Not difficult IF the lower tube fitting breaks loose easily. Often owners find it extremely tight making removal difficult or impossible.

Use two wrenches, one on the can fitting. Ideally use a flare wrench on the fuel line fitting. Replace the washer on the top fitting or it can leak.

Unless the engine is showing signs of poor performance the filter never needs changing.

 

yea the can filter...now do i have to like disconnect the battery or the fuel pump before i change it??

No need to disconnect the battery, etc.

Even with engine off, the fuel line will be under pressure, wrap a rag around the fitting to prevent gas from squirting every where. Do the job when the engine is cold.
