Default Idle issue on a 2002

Hey All I am new here. I am having a issue with the idle.

The engine was recently replaced by me and a buddy of mine. The car is running fine or appears to be running fine, but I have a check engine light. I had that checked upon and the shop said I had misfiring in all cylinders. So they suggested new spark plugs and since I have not replaced them, I figured I would get new irridium ones. I gapped them to .044 and installed them. Now it is having a difficult time holding idle and when its barely holding idle, it tends to be very low.

Is there a way to adjust idle on the 2002 Camry? I am a Honda guy so this is new to me.

I plan on taking the car on a long trip to AZ tomorrow and back over the weekend, so I would like to resolve the idling issue.

Thank you,
Shah

If you car is a 4 cylinder its the same engine.

If a V6, make sure the plugs are dual electrode, check the ign coils.

The idle is fixed by the computer.

I think the idle fixed itself, it just took 20 miles of driving

Ah, whenever the battery is disconnected the idle can have issues until the computer sorts itself out. As you may have discovered.
