Exclamation MisFire Help !

Hi Guys, I recently purchase a 92 camry se 5spd 3.0L , 113,XXXmiles

I have already done an oil change, fuel filter, pcv replacement.

the spark plugs were changed prior to purchasing , but i did take all 6 out to check the gaping.

Once the car is at normal temperature the revs would go down to about 700 and it sound like it miss fires between 700-1000 rpm.

1- the misfire is not constant
2- only happens after car is warmed up
3- after a few mins of missfiring the car would shut off.

-------------------------------------------------------
Immediately i thought Rotor, Spark Wires or distributor.

so i took of all the wires , dist. cap and rotor.

I did see some small brown deposits on each of the small terminals on the inside of the cap. So i cleaned them up like new

Also the wires seemed to be fine , I only did a visual inspection.

Rotor was also fine, nothing out of the ordinary.

after i put all the wire back in their respective positions, i started the car let it warm up , and the revs dropped to about 750 (normal) ,NOW it does not shut off on it own.

BUT I still have an irregular misfire after the car has reached normal temp.

Any ideas?

Thanks Alot in advance.
