This is my first Post... Looking to give my Moms Car A Tunup
 

Hi and thanks for your advice in advance,

My mom has a 1992 Toyota Camary, 4 cylinder LEwith about 90,000 miles. The car drives fine, but I think it is time to do a Tune UP.

I plan on giving her
1. K&N Stock Air Filter
2. Denso Spark Plugs
3. NGK Spark Plug Wires or should I get Denso??????
4. Transmission Fluid
5. Radiotor Fluid
6. Gas Filter

Well, this is what I plan on changing. I am thinking about using RED LINE SyntheticTransmision Fluid, but I don't know which one, could some one tell me.

I am also not possive which sparkplugs I need I think IK16, but not sure.

does anyone want to add to what I should dofor a complete Tune UP. THanks.

all your part looks good..the parts department will know more about what model plugs you need..but its a good idea to stay with jap plug, but you already know that...also make sure that redline is conpatible with dex 3...valve adjust is optional...and may be drive belts if needed.

if it has a distributor i'd change the cap and rotor.. if not check the coil pack..
change the cabin air filter also. alot of people forget about them. its behind the glove compartment

depending on how dirty the fluid is, you maybe better off just doing two drain and fills (about 50-100 miles in between the two) with regular ATF fluid. Synthetic is nice, it does last longer, but keep in mind the car is old, and if the fluid wasnt always changed at 30K i'd watch out.

From my experience its pretty much better just to replace whatever has been working with the same thing and you can never go wrong with OEM.
