Unhappy 1989 toyota camry, jerking

Hello I need help please. I just replace my transmission on my 1989 toyota le camry engine 2.1. Here is my problem when I am driving 40mph the car is jerking when my foot is on the gas pedal. I changed the spark plugs on Satursday and the oil every 3000 miles.
My other problem is it's leaking oil it wasn't leaking before they change the transmission could they have had forgot and not tighting something?
Plus it seems to not have any power while driving I only have 178,000 miles on the car.
I am so wondering should I just sale the car so many problems I just put $1000 in transmission replacement and front end axle...
