1990 toyota camry not wanting to start

so i have a 1990 toyota camry and it just started acting up in the mornings or after sitting awhile and cooling down it doesnt want to start i will sit their for five minutes trying to start in and it will hessitate about starting and then will fianlly start up but when i try to accelerate from a stop it will start mmoving a little bit then fall right on its face and start to spudder and act like its about to die and wont go any where for about fourty five seconds and then start driving fine untell i have to come to my next stop it will do it all over again. but after like ten minutes of driving it stops acting up and drives fine. not to sure on what it could be i was maybe thinking a cold start sensor? if it even has one i dont know let me know what you think

thankyou for your help

How does the engine start and run after sitting over night?

if it happens over night, it could be the check valve in the fuel pump. Its suppose to hold pressure in the lines so it has fuel right away when you start. If the break or get weak it drains back all the way to the fuel tank.

I agree with blackey777. Sounds like a fuel pump or check valve problem. Also try the spark plugs if they have not been change in a while. My Jet Ski did the same thing and I though fuel, but it turned out to the plugs.
