car died while driving, turns over great but keeps popping am2 fuse every time I try to start.

 

AM2 fuse powers the ignitor, coil, injectors, engine and trans ECU, EFI main relay.

A white/red wire.

The is a noise filter (capacitor) behind the air cleaner box, firewall side. Sometimes this filter shorts to ground.

 

so what would be the solution to this problem!!!

 

Ok found the ego capacitor it is located inside the distributor on the left handside behind the brass bar and wires.. it is a round small cylinder like object with a brownish wire coming from it...cut that wire....
It should stop the fuse from popping it worked for me....
