1994 Camry 2.2 crank no start
Have a 1994 Camry with 22300 miles, recently it has been flooding itself during cold start. It was suggested by another site that it was a bad ECT sensor. So i purchased a new sensor and replaced but, did not fix it. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Are you pressing down on the gas pedal when cranking, if so stop.
Might check the ign system for poor spark. The engine could have spark but if not up to par can can cause hard starting. |
Have good spark and fuel pressure is within specs...The map sensor voltage is way under specs so I am going to give that a shot and hope thats what it is.

Post back with your findings.

Well I ended up having to take it to an mechanic and after having it for couple of days, he determined it was the computer. When trying to start, it was telling the motor that it was running @ 4000rpm and dumping fuel. Ended up going with a used one rather than a rebuilt or new.

Great job! Thanks for posting back with the fix and explanation of what was happening.
