1994 Camry trouble starting
Hello and thank you in advance. I have a 1994 Camry that has a weird problem. Here it goes. When trying to start the car it turns over but won;t start. I try and try until finally it starts and after revving it for 5 minutes or so it will idle and run.
If anytime during that 5 minutes I put a load on the engine(like AC) it just dies. Not sputters and dies, just dies.
OK, once warmed up (for lack of better term as I live on Guam) it will run fine. I can use AC, park and it starts right up and all is good until I park it and the same routine after it sits over night.
I have checked the fuel, fule pump and looked for obvious electrical problems but don,t see anything,
Can someone give me any idea what to look for or what this might be.
Bob

Thanks Joey.
V6 or 4 cylinder? 4 cyl.
Once the engine starts but is still cold will it now restart easily? No, once I get it to start I need to keep it revved up for several minutes. If it drops below say 2000 rpm's it just dies. Once warmed up it restarts easily.
When the engine is cold will it idle on its own or die? No, it just dies unless I keep it revved up until warm.
Thanks, Bob
