1998 1MZFE V6, what's it worth? What other years does it work for?
 

Hey guys. So my brother wrecked our 98 Camry due to rear end damage, so I have the car up on craigslist. It has the 1MZFE V6 and I'm trying to figure out what other years it will work for because people will occasionally ask. I haven't even pulled the motor, trying to get someone to just take the whole car and do whatever they want with it. What's it worth?

The engine was used in:
93-06 Camry but 03-06 had VVTi.
93-03 Lexus ES300 99-03 VVTi
94-04 Avalon 99-04 VVTi
97-00 Sienna 00-03 VVTi
98-03 Solara

The engine had modifications over the years which may limit a drop in of the 98 into other years.

For prices check your local Craigslist for parts cars. Perhaps $5-700 for the complete car.
