1998 Camry XLE V6 Auto front end shakes
 

Hey guys Im new to his forum. I have come cross a problem with my Camry.When I give it gas as i pick up sped the front start wobbling like a side to motion then it evens out. I looked at the Drive side CV axle where it goes into the transmission and I notice turn its turning its off center. Does this sound like the tranny could be causing the front end to shake? Its not the tires or the mounts doesnt shake in park when giving it gas. Even if i put it in the air while its in drive and hit the gas it will start to shake. if more info is need please let me know. Im stumped please help me.

The joint body is wobbling?

The trans differential seldom has problems unless abused or run out of oil.

Shaking during acceleration can be caused by a bad axle.

Shake in steering
 

Have had this problem with bad tires. Broken belts will cause a side to side shake in steering wheel at lower speeds..5 t0 15 mph. A dry CV joint can also cause this same problem. Are the boots on both sides good?

What you are describing sounds exactly like a bad cv joint. $40 from napa with core. Jack it way up on the side that you are replacing the shaft on and you wound even loose any diff oil. Ive done it about 3 times in my camry.
