On my 06 Camry the front turn signal bulb is a dual element type bulb (3457 amber). The bulb only illuminates one of the elements when flashing. Should the other element be illuminated when my headlights are on? In other words, with my headlights on the turn signal bulb will be on "low" and when flashing it will be brighter.

 

Front turn signal only uses one element.

 

Thanks for the reply Toyomoho! Since Toyota wired it that way can I assume that installing switch back LED bulbs is precluded unless I modify the wiring to make the second element hot when the headlights/running lights are on? I really like the JDMastar LED's. Has anybody made this mod before?

 

Look for a dual element LED bulb that states it replaces the bulb part number currently installed.
