2007 camry xle jbl amplifier problems
I don't have any audio output from the jbl 86280 0w390 amplifier. My rear speakers blew and became very hot. I cannot access the settings of the speakers from the dash board - it appears that there is no connectivity between the head unit and the amplifier. Is there any way to reset the amp or are there any fuses on the amp itself. I have checked the three fuses in the cars fuses boxes and checked the battery - no problems found. Should i try to find a replacement amp and install it? All help is most appreciated.

Guessing the amp is blown.
These amps are expensive if purchased from the dealer. May be hard to find used but these would be the cheapest source. It appears the amp was replaced by 86280-0W391. Try also searching on the newer part number. Do a Google search, try Ebay. May be hard to find used but used would be the cheapest source. |
Thanks Joey. Been looking all over the net and no joy. Appreciate your help. Jim
