2007 keyless entry

I have a new key that needs programming. Is this something I can do myself with instructions or do I have to take it to the dealer ? If it something I can do myself does anyone have the instructions? Thanks for any info.

RE: 2007 keyless entry

as far as i know the only way to program a key is to use a toyota scan tool...so you may have to go to the dealer.

Hi

Most remotes can be programmed manually at home without any tools or technical skills.

If you need to just order the instructions please check our website at

If you have any more questions or have any specific inquiries about programming your vehicle please contact us at customercare@carandtruckremotes.com including year, make and model of your vehicle.

You might be able to program the keyless entry by other means- but the immobilizer needs to be done with the Toyota scan tool. Without the immobilizer programmed- you won't be able to start your vehicle. The keyless will unlock your doors, but the car won't start.
