Default 2011 Camry SE - 4 cylinder - C1201 code and P0101

Hi there,
New to the forum, and trying to diagnose my new Camry problem.
Went on a camping trip over the weekend and a deer ran into the side of my car, going about 65 mph. (Dented back door ).
Drove approx. 70 more miles and my check engine light came on as well as traction control light on.
I assumed this was merely coincidental with the deer collision.. and still believe so.?

Limped the car back home. It had loss of power and was shifting weird / at unusual rpm ranges.
Had the error codes pulled at auto parts store.
C1201 - Engine contol system malfunction
P0101 - mass or volume air flow
P0171 - Bank 1 system too lean

had a hard time researching much with those specific error codes together..
I think it is the Mass air flow sensor??
I went to a local pick-a-part this am and got a used sensor for $50 (NO RETURNS ) and put it in and started the car and it ran way worse! Turned it off immediately. So now I am going back to get another one to try from the same salvage yard.

Any help with diagnosis here would be GREATLY appreciated!

Thanx,
Todd

C1201 is an engine malfunction which can be caused by other codes.

If other codes besides P0101, check these codes first.

Check P0171 code first.

You already replaced the MAF, try cleaning it.

Check the obvious first such as wiring and harness plugs issues, PCV leaks-plugged valve and exhaust or intake air leaks.

Check ECT sensor. More likely is a A/F sensor issue.

Just the one code?

Check the intake air ducting and hoses for air leaks along with the PCV system. Excess air getting in.
