Think you could post some pics? I'm just not too sure of your cars setup.

It's held on by 5 clips. It looks like you'd probably have to lower the glove box and get to the clips throught there. I would post a picture of the breakdown but I have yet to be able to post a picture here.

Test
You have to use the 'Go advanced' reply to post option at the bottom. Click the attachments icon (paperclip).
New window opens up called 'Manage Attachments'. Click 'Choose File' and get your pic. Click 'Upload' and then close window when done.
Click the drop down arrow next to the paperclip and you image doc name should be there, select with mouse and click.

Remove glove box to get it out of the way. Look up into the dash and look for the clips Toyotaguy mentioned. I would think there is an adjustment to the latch to flush the glove box door. Does the glove box close and latch or is the trim piece preventing that?

I loosened the screws on the front (only ones i found) don't see how it comes out, lower panels attached-which prevent u from looking up underneath. The box does close & latch. But the door does bump up against that trim piece which causes release button & lock to rattle which are on the left side. I would like to move & adjust these buttons a little to see if that would help, don't see how to access that adjustment.

I saw a video on Youtube that had this annoying squeak coming from the glove box while driving. I cannot seem to find any info on how to adjust you glove box door either.
Hopefully, someone can chime in on this.
