Does anyone Know if I can put the Automatic Climate controls in the Camry SE with the non XLE controls,ive heard you can if you add 1 wiring harness to it,any info would be appreciated,also what about adding the rear A/C vents from the XLE also

 

I'm sure that you can but it will probably take some time and patience and probably a fair amount of cash. As long as you have all the parts, I don't see why not. I would try to find a donor car and take everything HVAC related. As well as the center console for the rear AC vents.

 

Take Patonium's advice on the donor car.

Find shop a manual with wiring diagram and figure out what parts are needed and where they go.

There's more then just adding a more wiring. The conversion question has been asked before, the typical answer is its complicated but possible. Most owners then stop here.

Look under the front seats for vents directing the air to the back.

Your Generation of car starts in 2012, meaning info on a 2012 and 2014 car should be the same.

 

im not so much concerned with the rear vents,as I am switching the control unit over to the XLE digital unit
anyone ever done this? let me know how it went
