Resistance between + and - terminals of coil should be as follows:
0.36-0.55 ohm cold (14F to 122F) 0.45-0.65 ohm hot (122F to 212F) Also check resistance between the + terminal of coil and coil socket where the large ign wire to the distributor plugs in. 9.0-15.4 K ohms cold 11.4-18.1 k ohms hot Check resistance of signal coils inside the distributor. With distributor cap facing you and electrical plug oriented down, from left to right the connections are G(-), G2, G1, NE. G1 and G(-) 125-200 ohm cold, 160-235 ohm hot G2 and G(-) same as above cold, same as above hot NE and G(-) 155-2500 ohm, 190 - 290 ohm hot |
