'95 camry 4 banger
150,000 mile second car that I use to save gas. Ran fine, then quit suddenly. Replaced distributor and coil assembly, started, but ran terrible when cold. Took it to my mechanic and he said I busted temperature sensor when I was cranking down on the distributor hold down bolts. Ok, a new sensor and $110 later it ran fine.
It ran fine for almost 500 miles and then started bucking on deceleration. It will accelerate all day long and I can (almost) maintain speed with no problem. But the minute I back off on it slighly, the whole car rumbles violently. So much so, that I need to push in clutch or floor the gas. So, its either floor it or let off the gas completely. Anybody have an idea? Thanks in advance. |

Well, no takers, so I took it to my mechanic. I will post for all to see when I get it back.
