95 camry wont start

i have a 95 camry. i put the key and turn, sometimes it starts right up, other times it does nothing at all, no clicking, buzzing, nothing. i can try again it may start it may not. while running it goes into gear no problem so i dont think its the nuetral switch. could it be the ignition switch?

Do the dash indicator lights dim when the ign switch it turned to start?

Check battery cable terminals for corrosion where they attach to the battery studs.

I'm having a similar issue with my '96. Battery is charged and terminals have a good connection. It will start for a week straight, then randomly won't.

Since my car has been acting funny I've noticed this light on all the time (car on/off). I haven't been able to figure out what it is/means since its labeled only "Toyota". I have read the manual and my shop is unsure what it is as well. It looks like there is a spot for another light next to it possibly for a security system for which I do not have..

Can anyone explain to me what this means?

dealer? they will know and won't charge you for that. light, I mean. I cam't even tell, if it's gear shifter or door handle.

anyhow. ignition lock or main relay. main relays are temperamental and temperature sensitive and cuz they control starter and fuel pump, here ya go. same goes for ignition lock.
