95: Temperature Gauge Not Reading

I had to have a new (to me) 5S-FE put into my Camry, and after a few module/sensor-related issues got worked out, the motor seems to be running fine. However, the temperature gauge now appears inoperative....

I don't think I have a thermostat problem, but don't want to rule that out. I know that after a 5-10 minute ride the car seems fine, and runs fine. But as for the dashboard readout, nothing!

There appears to be nothing in Haynes repair manual about the temperature gauge (how to R&R, etc.) either.

I would like to fix the gauge myself; any advice is appreciated.

Is there anything in the manual about testing the temp gauge sender for the gauge?

The AutoZone website may have info on this in their vehicle repair guide section.

The sender is located on a coolant manifold the upper radiator hose attaches to. The sender has 1 wire going to it not 2. There is more the one sender in the area.

Got it. Using the more proper terminology, I found the "temp gauge sender" R&R instructions in my manual. After troubleshooting to ascertain it was not a fuse problem, I jumped a wire to diagnose the bad sender, got a replacement at my fave auto parts store for $15, and fixed the problem.

Problem solved! Thanks for the assistance.
