Rear bumper dented in by a truck bumper
My wife was leaving work the other day and upon backing up, she hit a truck bumper (it was a big white work truck with the diamond grid sqaure bumper) and dented our bumper.
The damage isn't bad but I've only had my Camry for a month ('08) and I want to get it fixed without spending a lot of money.
My wife's boss said it can be pushed right out, just use a rubber mallet when it is warm outside and the paint from the other bumper can be buffed out.
My question, has anyone been in a similar situation and fixed it themselves? My insurance has a $500 deductible and I know it will cost at least that and I don't really have the extra money to shell out.
Thanks for any help.
